At Integrated Nutrition of Mount Kisco, PLLC and Blood Logic, Inc. we work in close partnership with you towards developing your natural healing plan. What you do not need is a generalized “one size fits all approach.”  Our approach for clarifying your health issues, finding hidden causes of your health problem(s) and developing natural solutions has been woven into our carefully designed longevity approach that we call The Blood Detective’s Longevity Plan. We believe that developing a Metabolic Map of your entire body by performing specialized health tests (e.g., biomarkers) is a truly holistic way of viewing, appreciating and managing your health concerns. As a concierge practice, we make ourselves truly available to you.  As a paperless office we are concerned about the world environment as it affects our “internal environment”…namely, your health.

2. WHO IS MONSANTO AND WHEN DID THEY START PRODUCING GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOODS?

Monsanto Company, an American multinational agricultural biotechnology corporation headquartered in Missouri, is a leading producer of genetically engineered seed. The company, founded in 1901 by John Francis Queeny, operated primarily as a major producer of plastics, including polystyrene and synthetic fibers. As a chemical company, notable achievements by Monsanto and its scientists include being the first company to mass-produce LEDs and performing breakthrough research on catalytic asymmetric hydrogenation. Products manufactured by the company deemed controversial include the insecticide DDT, PCBs (dielectric and coolant fluids) and Agent Orange. Monsanto is not known for its honesty or transparency regarding the dangers of DDT, PCBs and Agent Orange.

In 1983, Monsanto and three academic teams were the first to genetically modify a plant cell and conduct field trials of genetically modified crops. The first genetically modified food was the tomato. Between 1997 and 2002 the company came to focus heavily on biotechnology after a process of mergers and spin-offs. Monsanto pioneered the biotechnology industry by applying its business model to agriculture.
